About JDRS Case Reports
Joint Diseases and Related Surgery (JDRS) Case Reports (www.casereportsjointdrs.org) is published by the Turkish Joint Diseases Foundation and is a sister journal to Joint Diseases and Related Surgery (www.jointdrs.org).
JDRS Case Reports is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, periodical, online, gold open access journal aiming to bring structured and high-quality case reports in all aspects of joint diseases and related surgery. The scope of JDRS Case Reports not only includes case reports and case series, but also uncommon clinical experiences and reports on contemporary orthopedic procedures about joint diseases and related surgery, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, general orthopedics and traumatology, from all around the world, written only in English. The journal is published three times a year (January, May and September).
JDRS Case Reports is an immediate open access journal and full text of all published articles are freely available without embargo (Gold open access). Turkish Joint Diseases Foundation has the international copyright of all the material published in the journal. The Journal’s content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). It allows users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles as well as to remix, transform, and build upon the material non- commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given.
Submission fee and Article processing charge (APC)
During the whole publication process there will be a submission fee paid for online article submission, and an article processing charge required only if the article is accepted, effective from March 1st 2022.
Submission Fee
The submission fee is 50 $ (for foreign authors) and 250 TL (for Turkish authors) per article. This fee is separate from the article processing charge (APC) and will be collected by the contracted IT Company (Yazılım Parkı) as usage fee for the online article submission and tracking system. The submission fee can be paid by credit card online as the last step of the manuscript submission within online article submission and tracking system. The submission fee can also be paid by wire transfer. In this case, your article will be processed after the payment is received. You can find the bank account information for the wire transfer below. This fee will not be repaid if the article is rejected in any stage. Neither our journal nor our foundation has any legal or financial liability due to these fees.

Article Processing Charge
Joint Diseases and Related Surgery Case Reports is an immediate open access (gold open access) journal and all expenses and costs related to the journal are funded by article processing charges (APC). APC concerns only accepted articles for publication. APC is net 150 € (for foreign authors) or 1500 TL (for Turkish authors) (including all taxes) per article. Following acceptance for publication, this fee will be collected in advance before the publishing services. This amount will not be repaid even if the accepted article is afterwards withdrawn by the authors for any reason. These fees are in no way related to the scientific evaluations conducted voluntarily by our journal’s editorial board and consultant referees.
